This diary is written by Kevin Hough, the Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing estates management officer for Dalton, to keep residents up to date with his day-to-day work in the area. As estates manager, Kevin visits new tenants to see see if they are settling in and if they have any problems he can help deal with. He carries out estate inspections every 13 weeks along with representives of the community, local ward councillors and other services, for example highways. He also works with other agencies such as Social Services, Environmental Services, tenants and residents, attending meetings regarding any works about to start or ongoing in the area. Kevin helps to tackle anti-social behaviour and runs a housing drop in point at the Dalton Library and Information Centre (top of Harp Inge) every Thur between 2pm and 3pm
